November is FAMILY MONTH! The family is under attack on all sides and the Lord led Pastor Luke to dedicate the month of November to the family. Ages four and up will be in the sanctuary. Nursery will be available for ages 1-3. Please sit together as a family and cherish this time. Pastor Luke will be bringing a special message each week to encourage your family!
HD Students are leading a worship service at the
Hesed House on Sunday, November 28th at 6 pm.
Our drama team is returning to the stage for 2 performances only on Saturday, December 4th at 6 pm and on Sunday, December 5th at 10:30 am. This drama is about finding a miracle at Christmas in your life and believing love and faith is enough to survive.
Help us celebrate with Pastor Luke and Amanda as they get ready to welcome a baby boy! We will be having a baby shower for them on Sunday, December 5th at 2 pm. They are registered at Amazon and Walmart.
All ladies are invited to our Christmas Pajama Party on Tuesday evening, December 14th at 6:30 pm in the church coffee room! Please bring a finger food, friend, and a $10 gift to exchange. Wear comfy Christmas pajamas and come enjoy food, friendship, games, and a Christmas devotion!

Please pick up gift cards (Chick-fil-a, Panera Bread, Shell Gas Cards, or Visa gift cards) for the families on the 11th floor at the Levine Children’s Hospital. For the last four years, we have been able to donate thousands of dollars to families going through a very difficult time. The Landen’s Story Foundation will match what the church gives up to $1000. We will be delivering the gift cards on Thursday, December 23rd.

Christian ministries are taking toy donations until December 10th. Please bring your toy donations to the church and we will deliver them to Christian ministries for you.
On Sunday, December 5th, we will have an angel tree in the foyer.
These angels are local children who are in need.

Please pray and ask the Lord what He would have
you do to be a blessing this Christmas.
Is your soul weary from waiting? The holidays remind us of things we wish were different...for prayers to be answered. For rings on left hands. For the doctor's report to be different. For empty arms to be filled. For lives of loved ones to be changed. For things to go back to "normal." We can all become a little weary from waiting. But there is still a reason to rejoice this year! Jesus, the Promised One, the Prince of Peace, has come, and He is going to come again!

Advent points our hearts back to Jesus. It produces adoration and anticipation, and it aims our longings at the One who fulfills them. In the heaviness and weariness the holidays can bring, we can have hope and rejoice that God is still fulfilling His promises to us.

Our next ladies Bible study is the First 5 Study: Pointing to the Promise: An Advent Study. We will be meeting on Fridays ~ October 29th - December 17th at 10am.
Contact Lori Ramsey with any questions.
Our veteran's support group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at the church. Please spread the word and if you are a veteran please plan to attend. Contact Joey Briggs with any questions.
Our Christmas service will be Sunday, December 19th at 10:30 am! We always enjoy this
candlelight service. A soup and sandwich lunch will follow the service in the fellowship hall. Please bring your favorite soup, sandwiches, and dessert!
We hope you will join us!
