Your Life Can Be Changed

Today everyone is looking for their lives to be changed. Many play the lottery believing that if they become a millionaire that it will bring them happiness and life change. Others turn to sex, drugs, and alcohol to alleviate the suffering in their circumstances. All of us are seeking something that will satisfy us completely. We are all born with this void in our lives, we know that something is missing. In the midst of our chaos, crisis, and confusion we seek peace, lasting peace, a peace that will change us completely and give us true joy.

The life change that men and women everywhere are seeking is found only in Jesus Christ. Its not found in a drug, a relationship, or prosperity. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "...If anyone is IN CHRIST, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." You can experience life change RIGHT NOW! How can you be "in Christ" so that "everything can become new"?

1. You must understand that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself. Romans 3:10, 23, "There is none righteous, no not one...For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." We will never experience life change trying to work for it ourselves. Perfection is what we would have to attain in order to go to heaven and none of us will ever be perfect. We all are sinners. Romans 6:23 says, "The wages of sin is death..." This word "death" has a two fold meaning "death physically and spiritually". This means because of your sin you will have to spend eternity in hell separated from God. But there is good news! Romans 6:23 continues, "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." God made a way through sending His Son Jesus to pay for all of your sin on the Cross. You must admit that you are sinner and...

2. Believe that Jesus Christ was God in human flesh, that He died for your sins, and rose again for your for your justification. Acts 16:31, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 4:24-25, "...it shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification." Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins and rose again so we could experience, new life, freedom from sin, and everlasting peace.  We must admit that we are a sinner, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and...

3. Repent of your sin and place your faith in Jesus Christ. Mark 1:15, "...the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." Romans 10:9, 13, "...If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved...For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved though faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."

The only way to lasting peace, fulfillment, and life change is Jesus Christ. He is the only way to heaven (John 14:6) and He desires to save you today.
